Event Operations Excellence Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
• Develop and manage portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and dependencies to provide actionable insights.
• Drive project prioritization to maximize ROI and strategic impact.
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with PMO processes, templates, and documentation standards.
• Lead lessons-learned initiatives and continuous improvement of PMO functions.
• Act as a key liaison between the event operations department and other company departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• 3–7+ years of experience in project or program management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a PMO leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA) or related field.
• PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional) certification.
• Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or PSM.
• ITIL Foundation or COBIT certification.
