Event Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day facilities operations, including scheduling, safety compliance, and inventory management
• Support the setup and breakdown of training sessions, workshops, and customer events
• Manage equipment, tools, materials, and AV/IT systems to ensure smooth operations
• Support the Brand Marketing Manager with the planning and execution of major tradeshow events
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendor management, catering, and rentals
• Manage the full registration process, visitor check-in, and hospitality
• Assist with event timelines, checklists, and post-event reporting
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to align events with brand messaging

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, event management, or related program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Access to a vehicle to commute between the head office and training centre in Milton, ON
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, video editing, or Microsoft Power Automate is considered an asset
