Event Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events from start to finish, including retreats, weddings, social gatherings, and corporate meetings
• Manage all event logistics such as timelines, banquet event orders, room setups, and vendor coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and during the event
• Collaborate closely with hotel departments, including Sales, Operations, Food & Beverage, and Banquet teams, to ensure seamless execution
• Source, negotiate, and coordinate with outside vendors and suppliers
• Monitor event details to ensure quality and accuracy, resolving any issues quickly and professionally
• Analyze event success and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 1–2 years of event management, catering, banquet, or hospitality experience
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
