About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver events following provided instructions and materials
  • Manage event timings and production details
  • Handle artist liaison and vendor management
  • Manage sound desk, including vocal microphone channels and aux music
  • Direct soundchecks and manage on-site logistical issues
  • Brief and support the event team and venue staff
  • Act as the main point of contact for the event, including hosting and handling customer queries
  • Manage unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, and incident reporting
  • Provide post-event feedback and photographs to managers

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly competent in team and people management
  • Assertive and measured in high-pressure environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Flexible with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to lead by example and work well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of event management experience
  • Passion for live music and event delivery
  • Sound engineering skills
  • Public speaking experience
