About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main onsite point of contact for Candlelight events and staff
  • Manage staff rosters, scheduling, and communication with staffing agencies
  • Train staff on duties including ticket validation, guest seating, and venue setup
  • Transport event supplies to and from venues using a UHaul
  • Manage inventory, supplies, printing needs, and guest lists
  • Deliver opening and closing remarks at events
  • Provide weekly reporting to Project Managers regarding event status and feedback
  • Assist with venue walk-throughs and evaluations
  • Represent the Fever and Candlelight brands through professional customer service

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in event management
  • Experience leading an onsite team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and ability to work in pressured environments
  • Possession of a personal laptop
  • Valid driver's license (strongly preferred)
  • Interest and passion for live music and event organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of AV and PA systems
