About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the main onsite point of contact for Candlelight events and staff
- Manage staff rosters, scheduling, and communication with staffing agencies
- Train staff on duties including ticket validation, guest seating, and venue setup
- Transport event supplies to and from venues using a UHaul
- Manage inventory, supplies, printing needs, and guest lists
- Deliver opening and closing remarks at events
- Provide weekly reporting to Project Managers regarding event status and feedback
- Assist with venue walk-throughs and evaluations
- Represent the Fever and Candlelight brands through professional customer service
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in event management
- Experience leading an onsite team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and ability to work in pressured environments
- Possession of a personal laptop
- Valid driver's license (strongly preferred)
- Interest and passion for live music and event organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant degree in a related field
- Knowledge of AV and PA systems
