About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver events following provided instructions and materials
- Manage event timings and production details
- Act as artist liaison and main point of contact for events
- Handle on-site logistical issues and production management
- Manage sound desk, including vocal microphone channels and aux music
- Direct and manage soundchecks, vendors, and venue liaison
- Brief, support, and manage the event team
- Host events and handle customer queries or complaints
- Ensure high-quality execution and manage unforeseen emergencies
- Provide event reports, incident reports, and post-event feedback
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Highly competent in team and people management
- Assertive and measured in high-pressure environments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible with a "can do" attitude
- Ability to lead by example and work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of event management experience
- Keen interest and passion for live music
- Sound engineering skills
- Public speaking experience
