Event & Field Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end conference and event logistics, including registration, booth management, shipping, vendor relations, and on-site execution.
• Manage the government team's event calendar, tracking all deadlines, attendee lists, and resource requirements.
• Partner with the marketing team to oversee booth design, branding, signage, and consistent visual presence.
• Coordinate all team logistics, including travel, lodging, event registration, and on-site booth scheduling.
• Prepare and manage all event collateral, such as one-pagers, decks, signage, and swag.
• Execute pre-conference outreach to book meetings with target buyers and manage the team's meeting schedules.
• Lead post-conference processes, including lead capture, routing to sales reps, and tracking event ROI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in event operations, field marketing, or conference management.
• Proven track record of independently owning B2B event logistics (booth, shipping, vendors, and setup).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage team travel, registration, and scheduling under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% for the event circuit.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort representing the company to government buyers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GovTech or government-focused events (e.g., NASCIO, NLC, ICMA).
• Experience in print and collateral production management.
• Experience running pre-event outreach to secure buyer or partner meetings.
• Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot and lead capture workflows.
