About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operational aspects of event facilities and support services
- Oversee the operational readiness of all event venues including ballrooms, meeting rooms, and outdoor spaces
- Liaise with Sales, Banquet, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security departments
- Ensure all event facilities, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and infrastructure are fully operational
- Supervise event setup, execution, and dismantling to ensure service quality and guest satisfaction
- Lead, coach, and develop the Events Facilities & Services team
- Coordinate technical infrastructure including AV, LED walls, staging, lighting, and internet connectivity
- Prepare operational budgets and monitor expenses for cost optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel event operations, banquet operations, or facilities management
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of event planning, banquet operations, and occupational safety
- Proficient in hotel/event management systems
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
