Event Executive

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute physical, virtual, and hybrid events across Southern Africa, including conferences, roadshows, and flagship events like Zoholics.
• Coordinate venue sourcing, logistics, registrations, travel, catering, branding, and on-site event management.
• Manage event timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, and operational deliverables.
• Collaborate with regional marketing and product teams to execute event promotion campaigns via email, social media, and partner outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with event agencies, production partners, venues, and suppliers.
• Lead on-site execution, managing speakers, exhibitors, and attendee experiences while troubleshooting real-time issues.
• Track event KPIs such as registrations, attendance, and ROI, and prepare post-event performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event management.
• Proven experience managing B2B events and conferences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
