Event Executive

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute event and experiential marketing programs, including store grand openings and workshop activations for a major home improvement client
• Coordinate all aspects of event execution, from initial planning to on-site setup and teardown
• Manage on-site operations including catering, security, staffing, and shipping
• Identify, manage, and communicate with outside vendors and partners
• Lead on-site staff, including the oversight of Brand Ambassadors and temporary employees
• Maintain inventory of event materials such as merchandise, signage, and promotional assets
• Write event guidebooks, activation recaps, and other essential event documentation
• Liaise with internal teams and client agency partners in PR, advertising, and social media

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in event planning and execution
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet strict timelines and budgets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Willingness to travel domestically (20-45%) and work weekends or holidays as needed
• Ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems independently
