About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute various events including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings
  • Collaborate with clients to understand event objectives and requirements
  • Develop event budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
  • Secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other necessary services
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
  • Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events and manage registration
  • Handle logistics such as transportation, accommodations, and scheduling
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues before, during, and after events
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
  • Evaluate event success through feedback and reporting

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in budgeting and contract negotiation
  • Experience with corporate, nonprofit, or large-scale event planning
  • Knowledge of event marketing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
  • Certification in event planning (e.g., Certified Meeting Professional - CMP)
