EV & Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and carry out necessary repairs on both electric and conventional vehicles
• Execute work orders by following service instructions provided by service advisors or workshop supervisors
• Adhere to workshop safety standards, use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure compliance with manufacturer regulations
• Maintain accurate records of parts used, work performed, and time spent on job cards or digital systems
• Collaborate with technicians, service advisors, and parts personnel to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• Strong understanding of EV systems, high-voltage components, and safety procedures
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, repair diagrams, and service bulletins
• Valid UAE driving license

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturer training or certification in EV systems or mechanical repairs
• Technical certification or Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
