EV Charging Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical expert for the EV charging product portfolio, including AC/DC chargers and Solar-Storage-Charging systems.
• Design and propose tailored EV charging solutions for customers from initial scoping through technical validation.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and solution delivery for customers and field engineers.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Product Management, and QA teams to drive continuous product improvement.
• Conduct product validation tests and develop technical documentation and troubleshooting guides for the French market.
• Represent Sungrow at industry events, client meetings, and technical workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in EV charging, power electronics, IoT products, or solution engineering.
• Solid knowledge of EV charging standards and protocols such as OCPP, IEC 61851, CHAdeMO, and CCS.
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems, log analysis, and testing environments.
• Fluent in French (C1) and English (C1).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technologies.
• Experience using ticketing platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of additional European languages.
