EV Charging Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to Level 2 and DC Fast Chargers
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and isolate ground faults
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling teams to complete work orders accurately and on time
• Review site manuals and drawings for proper equipment maintenance
• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance
• Document all site issues in the work order system

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial or utility energy fields
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and resolve problems with high results orientation
• Proficiency in English for technical instructions and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers
• Experience with solar power installations or power electronics
