EV Charging Field Service Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on Level 2 EV chargers and DC Fast Chargers
• Conduct insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and isolate ground faults
• Complete electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance in the field
• Document all site issues and work order completion in the CMMS
• Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper equipment service

Requirements

• Certified Journeyman Electrician from a relevant state (required)
• 2+ years experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial or utility energy
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience using a CMMS to generate, track, and complete work requirements
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Proficiency in English for safety, technical instructions, and communication
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
