EV Charger Assistant Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service EV charging systems using advanced tools and diagnostics
• Perform installation, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance on various EV charger models
• Terminate high and low voltage equipment, cable wiring, and build automotive-style wire harnesses
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems, including insulation (megger), thermal imaging, and torque tests
• Maintain detailed documentation for all repairs, installations, and project risks
• Monitor charging infrastructure performance and represent the company professionally at client locations
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical service operations
• High School Diploma (required)
• Knowledge of EV charging, automotive, or electrical systems
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in extreme temperatures, including climbing and using ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree or technical certifications
• ASE or equivalent certifications
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
