Eurythmy Teacher

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive eurythmy lesson plans aligned with the Waldorf curriculum
• Create dynamic movement activities to cultivate artistic sensitivity and physical development
• Oversee student snack, recess, and/or lunch periods as needed
• Evaluate student progress and prepare reports for parents and faculty
• Establish and maintain a positive, supportive, and organized learning environment
• Employ effective classroom management techniques
• Design and deliver creative eurythmy lessons incorporating various forms and gestures

Requirements

• Eurythmy Training Certification
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated success teaching eurythmy to elementary and middle school students
• Openness to the school's special character
• Ability to work successfully and positively with children
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques like Responsive Classroom preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in faculty meetings
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, squat, and escort students up staircases
• Proficiency with computers for report-writing and communication
