European Trade Lane Manager

Responsibilities

• Strategically search and develop new sea/air logistics opportunities focusing on the European market
• Invest in relationships as a subject matter expert with external and internal customers
• Manage various projects and tasks across cross-functional teams
• Travel domestically and internationally to work across various cultures
• Use Pipedrive CRM to target and document prospective clients
• Develop client strategies using appropriate marketing materials
• Act as a product champion and liaison between branch management, sales, and operations

Requirements

• 5+ years of supply chain or freight forwarding experience, ideally in sea/air logistics
• Strong sea/air freight product and pricing knowledge
• Thorough understanding of business development strategy and the sales process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills including conflict management
• Cross-cultural competence and cultural sensitivity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and German (or knowledge of other European languages)
