European Portuguese Language Tutor

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging online tutoring sessions for beginner to advanced students
• Prepare and adapt sessions to meet the specific needs of individual learners
• Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their areas of improvement
• Facilitate small group sessions that encourage speech production and socialization in Portuguese

Requirements

• Native European Portuguese speaker
• Completion of a Bachelor's degree
• Ability to work 6 hours weekly between 7am - 11am Eastern Time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays
• Access to broadband internet via a wired connection from a personal computer
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to teach grammar concepts
• Strong proficiency with web conferencing technology and online platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience
• Familiarity with Rosetta Stone platforms
