Europe Investments Lead - Assets

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end process of applying for regulatory licenses in new international markets.
• Analyze optimal routes to market by considering customer needs, product functionality, and local legal landscapes.
• Identify and negotiate commercial relationships with local custodians, brokers, and clearing partners.
• Establish ideal operational and commercial processes with new strategic partners.
• Bridge the gap between central product/engineering teams and regional expansion leads in APAC and the Americas.
• Translate global product ambitions into local realities to ensure seamless investment experiences.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in investment management and fintech.
• Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and drafting high-stakes license applications.
• Strong commercial mindset with a deep understanding of financial products, risks, and target markets.
• Solid understanding of investment services regulation (e.g., FCA, CIRO, FINRA/SEC).
• High bias for action and the ability to work autonomously in a high-growth environment.
• Willingness to sit and pass professional regulatory exams (e.g., CIRO or local equivalents) as required.
• Flexibility for international travel (approximately 10-20%).
