ETL Developer & Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Work with business and technical teams to gather data requirements
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Monitor ETL jobs and resolve performance issues
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes and data mappings
• Support data warehousing and reporting solutions

Requirements

• 5-9 years of experience
• Strong experience in ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, or SSIS
• Hands-on experience with SQL and databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Fact, Dimension, Star Schema)
• Experience in data modeling and data mapping
• Understanding of performance tuning and optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of Big Data tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting
• Familiarity with scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys
