ETL Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ETL solutions for Data Warehouse and Data Marts
• Provide technical leadership to ETL developers during design, development, testing, and certification
• Perform data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical design using 3rd normal form and dimensional modeling
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Provide detailed estimates for data profiling, ETL, testing, and certification tasks
• Ensure high data quality and integrity throughout the project life cycle
• Perform performance tuning and quality assurance for data sourcing, staging, loading, and transformation

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in ETL design and development
• Extensive experience with Informatica (version 9.0 or above)
• Proficiency in data modeling (star, snowflake, 3rd normal form)
• Strong knowledge of DB2 (mainframe) and DB2 UDB database management systems
• Experience with PL/SQL and handling flat files

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience, specifically in the Property and Casualty domain
• Experience with insurance data models such as IAA and Accord
