Ethics Administration Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ethics review processes, submissions, and committee activities
• Provide advice and support to researchers regarding ethics-related enquiries and systems
• Manage workflow allocation and monitoring to ensure compliant and timely outcomes
• Develop and maintain ethics, integrity, and governance resources and training materials
• Produce reports and data insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Contribute to ethics, integrity, and governance projects and stakeholder engagement activities

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
• Demonstrated experience in administration, coordination, or operational support within a complex environment
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when coordinating workflows and submissions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written communication skills for preparing reports and guidance materials
• Proficiency in using business systems and digital tools, including reporting and data management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in research ethics, research integrity, or governance
• Experience working within a higher education or research environment
• Familiarity with research management or ethics management systems
