ETF Capital Markets Associate

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day Capital Markets contact for clients and partners regarding ETF trading, liquidity, and market structure.
• Collaborate with issuers, broker-dealers, market makers, and service providers via email, Bloomberg, and in-person meetings.
• Assess and suggest revisions to client portfolios regarding position liquidity, viability, and tax treatment.
• Coordinate with market participants to locate capital for Custom In-kind Basket trades, option collateral, and swap capacity.
• Support fund governance for 1940 Act ETF trusts, including preparing board materials and managing compliance requirements.
• Prepare presentations for board meetings, client engagements, and business development initiatives.
• Provide insights on ETF trading and operational processes across domestic and international markets.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in ETF capital markets, trading, operations, or fund governance.
• Deep understanding of ETF market structure, creation/redemption processes, and trading mechanics.
• Proven experience interacting with authorized participants, market makers, and broker-dealers.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting board governance activities for a 1940 Act fund complex or ETF issuer.
