About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM Dry Etch tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents
  • Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software to evaluate tool performance
  • Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and support area success
  • Assist Equipment Engineers with upgrades, improvements, and long-down troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post-maintenance qualification tasks

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in an engineering or science discipline (or 7+ years of NXP experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
  • Experience with advanced electronics and semiconductor manufacturing equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and testing skills
