About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT, Ulvac, Gasonics, Fusion Gemini, and LAM Dry Etch tools
- Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents
- Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection (FDC) software to evaluate tool performance
- Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support area success
- Assist Equipment Engineers with upgrades, improvements, and long-down troubleshooting
- Coordinate with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post-maintenance qualification tasks
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in an engineering or science discipline (or 7+ years of NXP experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Experience with advanced electronics and semiconductor manufacturing equipment troubleshooting
- Ability to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Strong analytical problem-solving and testing skills
