Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for environmental remediation, asbestos, lead, and mold abatement, as well as demolition projects
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and disposal estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify project risks, assumptions, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client walkthroughs
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams during project turnover
• Maintain historical cost information and estimating databases

Requirements

• 5+ years of estimating experience in environmental remediation, asbestos abatement, demolition, or heavy civil industries
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong understanding of labor production, equipment costing, and subcontractor pricing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Environmental Science
• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Planswift, or OST
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
