Estimator

Responsibilities

• Assist the Proposal Manager in defining the bid cost structure
• Analyze tender documents to study scope of work, project schedules, and required resources
• Develop detailed bid cost estimates for project activities, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontracts
• Identify critical materials and obtain necessary vendor quotations
• Assist in selecting reference vendor quotations for inclusion in bid estimates
• Ensure accurate assessment of costs and schedules for all project activities, including engineering and procurement
• Prepare bid price sheets, preliminary project cash flows, and price breakdowns for client use
• Prepare the initial project budgeting case upon contract award

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar estimating position
• Proficiency in English (conversational/medium level mandatory; advanced level is an advantage)
• Must be a resident of Romania with a valid work permit at the time of application
