Estimator/Quotations Specialist - Waterworks

Responsibilities

• Gather data for quote preparation, perform data entry, and contact vendors for job quotes
• Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, and requirements
• Analyze specifications including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of pricing data and follow up on customer quotes
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products and projects by tracking actual costs relative to bids
• Maintain a bid calendar and update Salesforce to manage project workflows
• Recommend products and services that align with clients' business needs
• Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts and customers

Requirements

• Construction-related quotations or estimating experience is required
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Applications
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple urgent requests in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with waterworks products
• Prior use of Planswift or similar estimating software
• Familiarity with customer quotations software
• Experience reading blueprints, building plans, or technical drawings
