Estimator

Responsibilities

• Assist with quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify scope requirements
• Support preparation of conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates
• Help obtain and compare vendor, supplier, and subcontractor pricing
• Enter quantities, pricing, and scope notes into estimating software and spreadsheets
• Track revisions, RFIs, and drawing updates during the bid process
• Assist with bid leveling, scope clarification, and proposal formatting
• Maintain organized project files and estimating documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, senior estimators, and sales teams
• Participate in post-bid reviews and lessons learned

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, estimating, or related internship
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and technical shop drawings
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu for digital take-offs
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis
• Willingness to learn construction means, methods, and materials
