Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
• Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies
• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams for cost optimization
• Implement digital estimation tools and maintain cost databases
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering proposals
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 10+ years of experience in construction estimation
• Strong knowledge of market rates, materials, and labor costs
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel
• Experience in tendering for large-scale civil and fit-out projects
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements
• Ability to interpret drawings
• Understanding of value engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (MRICS or equivalent)
