Estimator - Joinery

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Evaluate material requirements and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers
• Calculate labor, production, machinery, finishing, and installation costs
• Prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns for bespoke joinery and furniture projects
• Collaborate with design and production teams to assess feasibility and optimize project costs
• Prepare detailed quotations, tender submissions, and pricing proposals within project deadlines
• Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost competitiveness and compliance
• Support value engineering initiatives by proposing cost-efficient alternatives without compromising quality
• Maintain and update pricing databases, supplier records, and estimation documentation

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator within joinery, fit-out, luxury furniture manufacturing, or interior contracting
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to interpret technical drawings
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with estimation software
• Familiarity with UAE market pricing, labor rates, and supplier networks
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
