Estimator II

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for aluminum and related hardware using digital tools like Bluebeam Revu
• Develop comprehensive bills of materials (BOM) for complex projects including curtainwalls and storefronts
• Review architectural specifications (Division 08) to ensure product systems meet thermal, structural, and aesthetic requirements
• Calculate total project costs including raw materials and manufacturing labor
• Compile and submit professional bid packages and formal quotations to contractors
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to provide value engineering (VE) options

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in commercial glazing or architectural metal industry
• Advanced proficiency in reading architectural blueprints and technical shop drawings
• Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel
• In-depth understanding of glazing systems and glass performance data
• Strong technical communication skills
