Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate civil estimates
• Prepare and negotiate supplier and subcontract packages in conformance with project requirements
• Collaborate with tender and construction teams to develop construction methodologies, programs, and risk assessments
• Prepare comprehensive tender submission documents with high-quality writing
• Utilize first principles estimating and project programming skills
• Monitor project costs during bidding and construction phases and provide value engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the Civil Construction industry
• Proficiency in estimating software and advanced MS Excel skills
• Proficiency in project planning and MS Project
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principles estimates under strict deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
