Estimator 1

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret contract documents including RFPs and specifications
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for design-build projects in the Oil, Gas, and Chemical markets
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to provide constructability input and value engineering
• Identify, quantify, and communicate project risks throughout the estimating process
• Participate in task force meetings, brainstorms, and pre-bid/post-project meetings
• Meet productivity goals and strict deadlines for bid production
• Perform site visits and investigations as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong mathematical and computer skills
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team

• GPA above 3.0
