Estimating/Tender Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to determine scope and pricing.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed cost estimates for building and construction projects.
• Prepare and issue subcontract enquiry packages and evaluate quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
• Support the preparation of tender submissions, including pricing schedules and supporting commercial documentation.
• Coordinate with Technical, Planning, Procurement, and Construction teams to develop competitive tender submissions.
• Analyse project risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities during the tender stage.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, historical cost data, and market pricing information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–10 years of experience in estimating or tender quantity surveying within a main contracting environment.
• Proven experience in the GCC/UAE construction market across building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in CostX, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for cost analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, drawings, and tendering procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with iTWO software.
• Exposure to Design & Build project environments.
