Estimating Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for proposals, projects, and contract estimates, including total installed cost (TIC) budget estimates.
• Set up estimating procedures and develop strategies in collaboration with proposal managers.
• Gather and challenge relevant cost information from various disciplines to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Support the process department during value engineering by setting up cost comparisons for process alternatives.
• Record all changes and revisions to costs up to the point of contract signature.
• Convert final proposal estimates into initial contract estimates to serve as the basis for project cost control.
• Highlight inconsistencies in data and initiate necessary reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science or Engineering (preferably Process, Mechanical, or Chemistry).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in estimation.
• Proven knowledge in EP/EPC plant estimation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASU (Air Separation Unit) plant estimation.
• Knowledge and experience in performing project Cost Control.
