Estimating Engineer 3 - PEMB

Responsibilities

• Provide direct pricing and design support for design/build and publicly bid projects
• Prepare calculations and engineering details from contract drawings and specifications
• Deliver accurate designs that meet building codes and manufacturing restraints
• Consult with Builders and Sales teams regarding complex framing and non-standard geometries
• Perform value engineering to identify cost-effective solutions
• Maintain Builder and Vendor relationships
• Train the Builder Network and Field Sales on in-house pricing tools
• Supervise estimating staff and provide technical support in the absence of the manager

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer (required for Level III)
• Minimum 4 years of metal building design experience (Level II)
• Minimum 10 years of metal building design experience (Level III)
• Advanced PEMB knowledge in product offerings and design considerations
• Ability to provide technical expertise across the corporate design community
