Estimating and Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs to determine scope of work and estimate requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and related documentation
• Develop estimates to support proposal creation and complex pricing sheets
• Determine labor, material, equipment, and subcontract costs for self-performed construction
• Analyze crew structures for composite rate development across various labor markets
• Utilize InEight Estimating software to support project workflows
• Align bid packages to proposal requirements for subcontractors and vendors
• Evaluate quote comparison sheets once vendor pricing is received
• Assist Lead Estimators in identifying and mitigating risks through cost analysis
• Participate in estimate review processes with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze past costs from completed projects to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Technology (or equivalent extensive work experience)
• 3-5+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil/Structural disciplines
