Estates and Trusts Attorney/Associate

Responsibilities

• Draft a broad range of estate planning documents including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts
• Prepare ancillary documents such as powers of attorney and healthcare directives
• Manage day-to-day estate planning needs for individuals and families
• Manage client relationships and translate client goals into practical estate plans
• Advise high-net-worth individuals on advanced planning strategies
• Handle estate and trust administration tasks

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law
• Licensed to practice law in New York

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced planning strategies such as GRATs, SLATs, and CRATs
• Exposure to estate and trust administration
• Ability to bring portable business
