Estate & Business Planning Attorney

Responsibilities

• Consult with and advise clients on estate planning, business succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and charitable planning
• Handle estate and trust administration, tax planning, liquidity planning, and asset protection planning
• Draft legal documents to implement various planning strategies
• Prepare federal estate and gift tax returns, including complex reporting and valuation issues
• Assist clients in establishing private foundations and other charitable vehicles

Requirements

• 3-7 years of legal experience
• Significant exposure to estate, succession, and tax planning for high net worth clientele
• Knowledge of estate tax, gift tax, generation-skipping transfer tax, income tax, and corporate/partnership tax
• Experience with advanced estate, charitable, and wealth transfer planning techniques
• Ability to research tax and legal matters, draft documents, and issue spot
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice law in Nebraska
