Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the sales strategy for Energy Storage System (ESS) solutions across Italy, focusing on utility, commercial, and industrial (C&I) segments.
  • Identify, develop, and manage a robust pipeline of ESS projects from lead generation to contract negotiation.
  • Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations and solution demonstrations to articulate the value proposition of Sungrow's products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and project delivery teams to ensure optimal solution design.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the Italian ESS sector.
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets to expand market share in Italy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales or business development within renewable energy or power electronics.
  • Strong technical understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and system architecture.
  • Established network within the Italian energy market (developers, EPCs, utilities, etc.).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Fluency in Italian (C1+) and English (C1+).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Italy to meet clients and attend industry events.
