Especialista Jr Ingeniería Seguridad Redes

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate perimeter security platforms to ensure the availability and continuity of mission-critical infrastructure.
• Manage change controls and critical production incidents effectively.
• Analyze, propose, and implement network protection rules and policies in collaboration with Development and Infrastructure teams.
• Monitor operational continuity, including availability, capacity, events, performance, and compliance.
• Ensure infrastructure cyber resilience through health monitoring, rulebase reviews, hardening, backups, and high availability management.
• Manage third-party vendors providing infrastructure services, measuring and reporting on service level agreements (SLAs).
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and policy optimization to reduce MTTA/MTTR.
• Participate in the evaluation of new architectures and technological tenders.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the operation of perimeter security technologies.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with diverse IT areas and manage relationships with manufacturers and distributors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls.
• Knowledge of Gigamon and Cisco switches.
• Strong understanding of Networks, Telecommunications, and DNS.
