Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of digital certificates (CLM), including discovery, issuance, implementation, monitoring, renewal, and revocation.
• Coordinate the definition and adoption of standards, policies, and guidelines for PKI/CLM management.
• Implement automation mechanisms for certificate issuance and renewal using APIs, ACME, or other technologies.
• Ensure correct installation and configuration of certificates across servers, applications, load balancers, and cloud services.
• Monitor certificate validity to mitigate expiration risks and prevent service disruptions.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities related to certificates, such as weak configurations or insecure algorithms, and define remediation actions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to integrate certificates in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and CNBV.
• Generate reports, metrics, and audits regarding the state of the cryptographic ecosystem.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital certificate management, PKI, or cryptographic security.
• Strong knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), and cryptography (public/private keys, hashing, TLS/SSL).
• Proficiency with X.509 standards and certificate formats (.PEM, .CRT, .PFX, etc.).
• Knowledge of automation protocols such as ACME and EST.
• Experience with cloud security tools and platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B1/B2).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with cloud platforms like IBM, Oracle, or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of web servers and load balancers (Apache, IIS, etc.).
