ESN Associate Program Leader (APL) - Platform and Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead program direction for ESN modernization by developing long-term cloud, server, and network strategies
• Coordinate the Platform and Infrastructure portfolio to enhance interoperability across ESN and adjacent programs
• Manage day-to-day operations of on-prem and cloud infrastructure to maximize uptime and efficiency
• Provide technical and organizational leadership for infrastructure modernization and operational excellence
• Support planning, budgeting, staffing, and supply chain coordination for infrastructure operations
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Support governance, IT policies, and cybersecurity protocols across the organization

Requirements

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or active Top-Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience leading large technical organizations in delivering mission-critical enterprise IT infrastructure
• Experience with modern VDI architectures (Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AVD)
• Expertise in hybrid cloud integration, SD-WAN, and enterprise-scale network designs
• SME experience in enterprise IT vendor management and strategic partnerships (Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Cisco, Oracle)
• Advanced strategic leadership in cloud migrations, datacenter consolidation, and DevSecOps transformation
• Expert experience in hyperconverged infrastructure, VMware vSAN, Nutanix, and hybrid cloud architectures
