ESIS Claims Vice President

Responsibilities

• Oversee claim activities for the Mid-Atlantic workers’ compensation regional operation to ensure quality, timely service, and cost-effective outcomes.
• Implement quality plans, monitor outcomes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the Monthly Quality Self-Review Process and assist with audits on Performance Guarantee Accounts.
• Utilize Excel to identify and analyze trends, collaborating with the claims department to address findings.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and onboarding processes for new and current employees.
• Assist team leaders and claims handlers with special projects, including reserve analysis and workbook audits.
• Monitor and report on aged queues and evaluate caseloads and staffing requirements.
• Participate in file reviews and new account presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in workers’ compensation claims handling or supervision.
• Advanced technical skills in claims handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and staff management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain client relationships.
