Responsibilities
- Actively seek new business by attending sales meetings, real estate events, and interacting with lending and banking partners
- Prepare closing disclosures, escrow agreements, and all other settlement documents
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding to resolve Title process issues
- Obtain clear title by curing defects, satisfying liens, and verifying proper vesting
- Balance all financials with corresponding invoices and tax balances
- Oversee the receipt and proper disbursement of funds and manage escrowed funds
- Maintain compliance with Orchard Title policies and governing laws and regulations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Escrow Officer
- Possession of a current book of business (expected minimum of 5 closings per month)
- Working knowledge of state-level escrow rules and regulations
- Proficiency with Google Suite and specialty software such as Qualia
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
