Escrow Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end real estate closing process, ensuring compliance with contracts, lender instructions, and title requirements
• Act as the single point of contact for Buyers, Sellers, Agents, and Lenders throughout the transaction
• Collaborate with the title department to resolve complex issues such as legal descriptions, easements, liens, and boundary disputes
• Prepare all necessary closing documents to ensure the successful issuance of title insurance
• Oversee the accurate issuance of checks, bills, statements, and receipts to ensure customer satisfaction
• Verify all funds are collected, documents are signed accurately, and legal descriptions are correct prior to disbursement
• Manage and develop client relationships to drive future business and ensure repeat transactions
• Delegate and manage the workflow of escrow assistants when necessary

Requirements

• 3-5 years of real estate closing experience
• Deep knowledge of the escrow process and closing documentation
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Qualia or Resware
• Experience with Softpro or similar escrow software
• Multi-state real estate experience
