About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean restrooms, shower areas, locker rooms, classrooms, offices, lounges, hallways, and stairwells
- Perform routine floor care including vacuuming, dust mopping, and wet mopping
- Collect trash and recycling from receptacles
- Report vandalism and needed repairs to the Shift Supervisor
- Maintain outside entrance areas free of debris and snow
- Complete bio-hazard clean-up training and provide services
- Perform other duties such as snow removal, set-ups, and grounds work
- Conduct all responsibilities in a safe manner according to OSHA and EPA regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of custodial experience preferred
- Valid US driver’s license held for at least three years
- Ability to pass the College’s MVR rating system
- Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work third shift (Monday-Friday 9:00pm-5:30am)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous custodial experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
