ES&H Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard assessments for various work activities and recommend appropriate mitigations per regulatory requirements
• Perform root cause analyses for occupational injuries and other incidents
• Conduct OSHA-type inspections for facilities and construction areas and prepare informative reports
• Support the entry of corrective actions into tracking systems and ensure remedies are deployed and verified
• Perform technical writing reviews, updates, and revisions to safety directives and manuals
• Develop and maintain databases for training, equipment inventories, audit findings, and corrective actions
• Present multi-disciplinary safety training courses in a classroom setting
• Coordinate projects from inception to completion, including review of specifications and analysis of information

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• BS Degree in Safety Engineering/Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related ES&H field
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Safety
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or ASP designation
• OSHA 30-hour for Construction certification
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems
