E&S Coordinator – Hydropower

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental and social (E&S) activities across hydropower projects
• Support the preparation of Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA)
• Act as a key interface between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder inputs
• Review, draft, and quality-check technical reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as IFC, ADB, and Equator Principles
• Support stakeholder engagement and coordination with authorities
• Participate in project assignments across Asia, Africa, and Europe

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, GIS, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ESHIA/ESIA preparation
• At least 2 years of experience in coordination of E&S activities
• Strong knowledge of IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguard Policy, and Equator Principles
• Prior experience in hydropower projects is highly preferred
• Fluency in Thai and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel internationally as required

• Social specialization such as resettlement, livelihood restoration, or anthropology
